Burkhard is a high-vibration Yoga & meditation teacher with a deep affection for practical Yoga philosophy, applied history & anatomy. He is a truly passionate Yoga scholar, and he loves to verify his findings in his own practice.  His spirit shines where the power of the mind meets the generosity of the heart. He is inspired when the ancient practice of Yoga is reconfirmed by modern science. 

His aspiration is the integration of science & spirituality, and a unified understanding of Eastern & Western philosophies.


Kirsten's approach to meditation is profoundly practical. She is passionate about making meditation accessible using the power of the body and breath movement as it is experienced in breath-based asana practice. She loves to connect to the Sacredness of Life in the ordinary. Her background is in Spiritual Heart Meditation, which combines heart-centering, breath awareness, and Self-inquiry to connect to the stillness & bliss of life profoundly. She has practiced and taught meditation for the past 15 years in various formats and countries, from short silent sittings, which typically end her Yoga classes, to meditation classes & retreats of various lengths. Her passion belongs to the connectedness & sacredness that arises from Stillness.


Devdas began his journey in meditation naturally in his young years, just sitting and contemplating in his favorite nature spots.  Eventually, he learned some proper techniques and helped to run a series of meditation centers all over India for 12 years of his life.  Meditation should be as natural to human beings as the breath and should be taught in a way that everyone feels the profound and immediate benefit of regular practice.  Pranayama as a doorway into stillness and mantra meditation are Devdas’ special passions.  By now Devdas has shared meditation experiences and retreats in North America, South America, Europe, and all over Asia.

Tame Your Mind

On this initial day, we lay the foundations of meditation. We focus on establishing a comfortable physical posture for meditation, eliminating bodily distractions. We introduce the powerful technique of 'capturing the uncaught mind', which uses breath as an anchor to streamline thought processes, slow down the mind, and establish a witnessing attitude. This simple yet potent technique borrowed from Buddhism sets the stage for your meditation journey.


Day 2

The Power of Breath

Day two delves deeper into the significance of breath in meditation. Breath awareness not only aids in fostering concentration but also opens the door to expanded consciousness. We will guide you on how to harness the calming and concentration-enhancing benefits of breath, laying the groundwork for potential meditative states.


Day 3

Spiritual Heart Exploration

Day three is dedicated to exploring the spiritual heart - the essence of existence reflected within each of us. We meditate upon this reflection, using it as both an anchor for our meditation and a portal to the vastness of existence. This exploration allows us to connect with our core being on a deeper level.

On the fourth day, we introduce a powerful method of self-inquiry using the profound question: "Who am I?". This query leads us not towards a cognitive answer but into a realm of silence and wonderment. We guide you in using this question to meet yourself on the deepest level, fostering a deeper sense of self-understanding.

The Resonance of 'Ohm'

The sixth day explores the ancient and powerful tool of the 'OM' sound. Chanting 'OM' can cleanse and balance your energetic body, awakening deep intuitive understanding of your true nature. We will practice 'OM' chanting, followed by a period of silence to internalize the experience.

Mantra Meditation

Have you ever wanted to dive into the subtlety of each breath? Mantra meditation is one of the most powerful modalities to discover your breath.  I worked with this style of meditation for many years, and my teacher in India summarized it perfectly.  This simple and powerful meditation can take you straight into the recognition of who you are.  Using sound we will experience the breath together in a whole new way.
