300-Hour Advanced Yoga & Meditation Teacher Training Course
18 WEEKS TO A SOLID & INSPIRING YOGA PRACTICE
You’ll discover a depth of Yoga that will expand the limits of your self practice. This 3-part course combines fundamental knowledge with advanced practical, philosophical & spiritual aspects of Yoga. It also includes live teachings & conversations with a famous guest teacher: renowned Yoga Master Mark Whitwell.
HOW IT WORKS
The 300-Hour Training is divided into three 100-Hour Modules:
Advanced Hatha Yoga & Pranayama
Yin Yoga & Mindfulness
Meditation & Self-Inquiry
Each module is spread over 6 consecutive weekends. During each of those 6 weeks you will engage in 14 hours of intensive, guided practice and instruction.
All three modules are completed over 18 weeks and feature the following:
Live introductory kick-off weekends for each of the 3 modules
Three separate 6-week courses with:
5 + 5 hours every weekend (mostly live)
4 additional weekday hours (recorded) each week
Regular short practices for daily-life integration
1-hour personal interview with a lead teacher per module
5 hours devoted to a final test & graduation

Advanced Hatha Yoga & Pranayama
Explore the origins of Yoga in ancient scriptures and connect it to the roots of modern Yoga, as taught by Krishnamacharya. This part emphasizes the use of Bandhas and refined awareness in breath-based Asana practice, including mastering basic poses and exploring the possibilities for arm balances. You’ll complete this module with a deeper understanding of Pranayama and the confidence to teach from your own experience.
Yin Yoga & Mindfulness
We’ll dive deep into the archetype Yin Yoga postures, explore the world of meridians, and discover their connection to fascia. Special guest and previously ordained Buddhist monk Anthony Markwell shares his extensive knowledge of Theravada Buddhist Vipassana meditation. We’ll explore useful tools and modern applications such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. You’ll leave this module with enough knowledge and practice to build your own deeply relaxing and inspiring Yin Yoga practice.
Meditation & Self-Inquiry
The third module is devoted to meditation. Practical teachings explore three main contemplative directions: Spiritual Heart Meditation, Self-Inquiry & Mantra Meditation. Akasha’s breath-based and heart-centered approach is grounded in the non-dual wisdom of Advaita Vedanta. We’ll explore relevant basics and background insight on different lineages and meditation styles.
